The HIH IT Core Facility can advise on IT hardware procurement, but the necessary forms must be completed by the groups themselves.

#Printers, notebooks and monitors

For this we recommend to use the UKT Hardware Shop.

#PCs

For this we additionally recommend to use the offers of the BW-PC. This is a cooperation between the state of Baden-Württemberg, represented by the University of Freiburg, and Bechtle AG.

On behalf of the state of Baden-Württemberg, the University of Freiburg invited tenders for commercially available PC systems for use at the state's universities. The contract for the EU-wide tender was awarded to the system house Bechtle AG.

If you decide to order non-standard hardware, you have to write a justification, why exactly the other configuration shall be purchased.
So, attached to the „Beschaffungsantrag“ you have to write such a justification that in addition states, that the PC is not being connected to the clinical network and is maintained by the HIH IT.
