#Recommended AI Chatbot
We highly recommend the use of the AcademicCloud AI Chatbot, which ensures higher data security that other AI agents. Your conversations and data are not used to train any AI models. It is free for academic use, the login works with your university account.
We do not keep any conversations or messages on our servers. We only record some usage stastistics, in order to monitor the load on our service and improve the user experience. This includes usernames, timestamps, and the models/services that were requested. Everything else the ChatBot remembers (like the history of your last conversation, etc.) is only stored locally in your browser.

#AI Image Processing/Generation
https://image-ai.academiccloud.de can be used for image generation and processing and is part of the Academic Cloud ecosystem. Flux is a state‑of‑the‑art diffusion model (Flux.1‑S/Flux.1‑Pro) that excels at high‑fidelity text‑to‑image generation, producing photorealistic and artistically diverse pictures with fast inference and strong control over style, composition, and resolution. Qwen‑VL (the vision‑language variant of Alibaba’s Qwen series) is optimized for multimodal image understanding, enabling tasks such as image captioning, visual question answering, object detection and region‑level reasoning by jointly processing visual and textual inputs. Together, Flux handles the creative synthesis of new images, while Qwen‑VL interprets, analyzes, and extracts information from existing images. Using them side‑by‑side lets a pipeline both generate novel visuals and understand or edit them based on natural‑language instructions.
#Coding support with CoCo AI
CoCo AI is a code completion service utilizing AcademicCloud Chat AI. To use it you need a SAIA API Key. Many code editors feature LLM integration these days. We provide documentation for using the Continue extension for Visual Studio Code (VSCode), as well as for the Zed editor, Cline coding agent and Emacs editor. Read more...

#Beschaffung von Lizenzen für öffentliche KI-Systeme (z.B. ChatGPT, DeepL, …)
Die Verwendung von Systemen mit KI (künstlicher Intelligenz) unterliegt verbindlichen Vorgaben unter Berücksichtigung der Zweckbindung sowie dem Schutzbedarf und gilt für alle Beschäftigten des UKT und der MFT.
Die Beschaffung von KI-Systemen erfolgt ebenfalls gemäß der Beschaffungsordnung über einen Beschaffungsantrag und ist beim IT-Einkauf einzureichen.
Im Beiblatt Forschung sind folgende Informationen anzugeben:
- Der genaue UseCase (Was möchten Sie mit KI machen/Worin liegt der Nutzen/Mehrwert für das UKT bzw. Ihren Fachbereich)?
- Eine schriftliche Erklärung, dass Sie die Leitlinien des UKT zum Umgang mit KI einhalten werden.
